2009 Green Tie Luncheon

Conservation Voters of South Carolina presents the first annual Green Tie Luncheon, our primary fundraising event, to recognize current or retired public servants and environmental leaders for their dedication to helping create a safe, clean and healthy South Carolina. Honorees will be selected for the event for each of the following categories: Lifetime Conservation Achievement, Senate Conservation Leadership, House Conservation Leadership and Conservation Policy Advocate.
This year's event will feature special guest Honorable Richard W. Riley and honors retired Senator John Drummond (D/Greenwood), Senators John Courson (R/Richland) and Phil Leventis (D/Sumter), and Representatives Bill Herbkersman (R/Beaufort) and James Smith (D/Richland).
The event is scheduled for Wednesday, September 16, 2009 (from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm) at the Grand Hall in Historic 701 Whaley located in the heart of the Olympia community in Columbia, SC. The luncheon will feature local and organic foods in a natural, eco-friendly decor.

Individual tickets are available for for $50.00 ($35 before 8/15) each by registering on this page or print and return this form with your payment.
